Article Marketing - Discover 3 Brand New Ways to Make Money with Article Marketing

Making money through article marketing cannot get easier these days. If you have the knack for writing and you are willing to submit your articles to various publishing sites on a regular basis, you can rake huge money using this technique.

1. Promote your website. Article marketing is currently the best traffic-generating tools in the internet today. When used properly, this tool can drive enormous traffic to your website which can easily be converted to cash. To succeed in this method, you must be able to consistently produce quality, factual, well-written, informative, and useful articles that are targeted to the needs and demands of your potential clients. These articles, when submitted on various publishing sites, can be picked up and republished by other online users. This can lead to more quality inbound links and stronger online presence.

2. Affiliate marketing. If you make a living by promoting and selling affiliate products online, you can augment your income through article marketing. Write about product reviews, product comparisons or recommendations to better build your products and boost your sales potential. You can also use this technique to increase the traffic on your product page. As you know, more traffic means more chances of closing a sale.

3. Promote your own products. Write topics that are highly relevant about your products to attract targeted traffic. For instance, if you are selling car insurance, you can talk about the importance and benefits of your product and how it can play crucial role in your potential clients' lives. By building your products, you are increasing your chances of convincing your target market to take action and make a purchase.

"Marketing Multi Level" - If You Don't Read This, FORGET IT!

Okay, Okay...The heading "Marketing Multi Level"..If You Don;t Read This..Forget It.. was just a little bit dramatic....I will admit that but I needed to get your attention because to me marketing is the big missing link from the three keys to success in multi level marketing.

Just to quickly review I have already discussed in other articles the other two key areas required...

1. Personal Development

2. System Duplication

But now......however...marketing is necessary and not just any type of marketing. It's marketing about you! That's right..You!! It's not about marketing the products or services. It's not about marketing your leaders or your system. No...great "marketing multi level" style is to get people attracted to YOU first. Did I say you? Yep!

That system of "marketing multi level" is called Attraction Marketing. And it's powerful because it's all about the person only you control...YOU! And there is no one else like you. The other great thing about attraction marketing is that people stick with people...in other words they will be less unlikely to switch companies after they follow you to the company in the first place.

Now that we understand the strategy... the next step is to determine "HOW?." Well that includes creating a brand for you as being an expert in the industry. Whether you are an expert or not ..isn't the issue. The issue is whether or not people perceive you as the expert. Perception is reality. And here's the real neat trick...if you aren't an expert...borrow someone else's expertise. In other words...convince your prospects because you are associated with an industry expert in some regard, then you have the perceived expertise you need..

That's "marketing multi level" style. That's success!

Here's to you!

Lucrative Article Marketing - Uncover 5 Reliable Methods to Advance with Article Marketing

If you have been using article marketing in promoting your products or website but can seem to generate the kind of interest and traffic that you were hoping for, let me help you increase the benefits you get - from increased page views, improved sales potential, and higher page ranking - by tenfold. Just follow these 5 reliable methods and you'll surely advance in this technique:

1. Anchor text vs. absolute URL. What are you using in your resource box? Based on studies and researches, the use of anchor text is more effective that using absolute URL. Aside from the fact that they look good on human eyes because they are based on keywords, they are also favored by search engines.

2. Make your articles scannable. Online users do have little time to spare when they search for information online. They appreciate articles that are scannable so they can easily skim through the information without spending so much time reading the whole article. Break your articles into short paragraphs and use bullet list to make your articles not only scannable but also easy on the eyes.

3. Maximize your resource box. Most article submission sites will allow you to use up to three hyperlinks on your author box. Take advantage of this to increase the chances of your website's URL being clicked.

4. Keep your resource box short. Remember, you are not writing another article. Keep it simple and direct to the point. Include your name, your expertise, and your "bait" - or the reason why readers should visit your website.

5. Give your articles compelling teasers. These will be shown, together with the titles of your articles, when an online user searched for your keywords. Tell your potential readers what is your article all about and how they can benefit from reading it.

Powerful Article Marketing - Discover 4 Hidden Secrets to Excel at Article Marketing

One of the hidden secrets to excel in article marketing is carefully choosing your keywords. Pick the ones that are constantly being used by your target market when they searched for information online. By using the right keywords or search terms, your articles will become highly searchable and you will increase their chances of being opened, read, and hopefully republished.

Here are the other hidden secrets to excel at article marketing:

1. Observe appropriate keyword density. Publishers are now very strict about keyword abuse. They immediately reject articles that contain so many keywords that don't sound natural on the content. Stick with 3% keyword density to stay on the safe side and to increase the chances of your articles being republished on leading submission sites like ezinearticles dot com and goarticles dot com.

2. Hire some help. Manually submitting your articles to hundreds of publishing sites can take so much of your writing time. This can affect your productivity which is not good in your marketing strategies. Hire somebody who can post the articles for you. Although you will need to shell out some money for this, you can buy yourself more time doing what you do best - writing.

3. Stick to the facts. Never overstretch the truth or insert unfounded information on your content to avoid misleading your readers. Before you publish your articles, be sure to double check your content as factual errors can easily tarnish your online credibility.

4. Never advertise on your articles. Don't convert your articles to sales letters and focus on giving your readers what they truly want - information. This is the surest way to move them to click on your resource box where you can post your sales pitches.

Best Article Marketing - Latest 4 Compelling Methods to Supercharge Your Article Marketing

More and more marketers are using article marketing as their primary promotional tool making the online competition in getting people's attention much stiffer. If you would like to get ahead of the pack, these 4 compelling methods will help you supercharge your marketing efforts:

1. Focus on topics that are relevant to your target niche. If you are selling cars, writing articles about making money online might drive traffic to your website, but it will not be targeted. Meaning, you will have visitors that are not interested on what you offer and will not buy your products. To increase your sales potentials, talk about topics that are related to your target niche and focused on the needs of your potential audience. By doing so, you will not only augment your profits, but you will also be able to distribute valuable information to your target market.

2. Distribute your articles. Submit your articles to submission sites and directories. Pick the ones that are indexed by major search engines and have steady traffic. These are the sites that are frequented by online users and other webmasters who are looking for content to be republished.

3. Optimize your articles. You would want to drive search engine traffic to your website to augment your sales potential, right? You can do so by optimizing your content and sprinkling relevant keywords all throughout your articles. Just make sure that your keywords sound natural so you can still keep you content reader-friendly.

4. Maximize your resource box. Most publishing sites allow you to use 3 hyperlinks on your resource box. Take advantage of this and put in URLs that will take your readers to your squeeze page, product page, or main website. The more URL you use, the better your chances of improving your conversion rate.

Article Marketing 101 For Affiliate Program Managers

This article is for Affiliate Program Managers: Interested in increasing the amount of revenue that each of your affiliates creates for your business? Read on to learn about how to use your existing articles to grow your affiliate program strength.

From an affiliate perspective, there are only a few 'deal breaker' type things that I insist any affiliate program that I join must provide me:

  • Real-time reporting statistics
  • Real-time email alerts upon each sale
  • Payment on a consistent monthly basis
  • High price-point products
  • Package of articles that I can reprint on my websites and ezines
  • One strategy that many newbie affiliate program designers fail to offer is a package of articles that can be reprinted on my website along with my unique affiliate link. Of the tens of thousands of dollars I'll do this year as an affiliate, you would be shocked at how much of the revenue comes directly from reprinting articles of the affiliate programs I am involved in. This strategy works for me and it can work for you!

    Here's what to do:

  • Designate 10, 25, 50, 75 or 100 articles that will be made available to your affiliates as a dump (meaning all at once and immediately).
  • Provide them with 3-10 articles per month thereafter that they can reprint along with their affiliate link.
  • Be certain to spell out the reprint rights of this type of affiliate article marketing so that your articles don't show up on bad websites you wouldn't want to associate with.
  • Here's what NOT to do:

  • Allow your articles to be private labeled. This is a poor strategy and will dilute your credibility. They should carry your name or the name of your primary author brand.
  • Don't give out all of your articles for your affiliates to use. Best to designate a specific "lot" of them that can be used by your affiliates and the rest are yours to keep exclusively for your direct sales audience.
  • Why this type of article marketing is important for affiliate program managers and affiliates:

Articles are like "sales agents" in that they keep selling for you, day after day, year after year. They also help expand your reach as each article gets indexed by the major search engines. Lastly, they give you another reason to send an email to your list members about the articles available.

This is a credibility builder for the affiliate program manager and it's a "Give" before the "Take" which begins the reciprocation cycle in a positive direction.

Note For Affiliates Who Use Articles To Promote Their Affiliate Programs:

Some sites (like ours at http://EzineArticles.com/ ) don't accept articles that promote affiliate programs, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't go find other sites that do accept articles that promote affiliate program links. I really meant this article to speak directly to affiliate program managers and not the needs of affiliate marketers.

To save you the trouble of sending me an email to ask why EzineArticles.com doesn't accept articles that promote affiliate programs, there are three reasons:

    1) Because we don't accept articles that are available on a non-exclusive basis (meaning we only want to see original or exclusive licensed content) and...

    2) Because affiliate marketers are not our ideal author profile type and...

    3) Because most ezine publishers don't want to reprint articles that pitch an affiliate link. One of the primary purposes of our site is to be a resource for ezine publishers to find supplemental content for their next email newsletter.

With that said, there are plenty of competitor article sites that will allow you to submit your affiliate-link-laced articles, not to mention listing them on your own website.

Bottom line: If you offer an affiliate program to promote your products and services, consider immediately offering a package of articles that your affiliates can add to their website or send to their email newsletter lists to further promote your business.

Article Marketing - Should You Use Article Submission Software?

I see Article Software advertised that will send your article to hundreds of article directories. How effective is this? What about duplicate content?

I have tried two or three different pieces of Article Software. It works--I can send out fifty articles in an hour. The funny thing is that when I send those articles out using Article Software, I find that I don't get as many links from them as if I personally submit them, or I pay somebody to personally submit them. I don't know why. I'm a big results person.

If somethings not working--a lot of times I won't even ask why. I'll just move on to the next thing. Now, that's not always the wisest thing to do. But, right now, given my business structure, I really apply that eighty-twenty principle. Eighty-percent of my results come from twenty percent of the work that I do. And right now, rather than focusing on the eighty percent that doesn't produce results, I just multiply the twenty percent.

Right now what's working for me is personally submitting them by hand. I'm sure it's boring. I'm sure it takes time. But that's how I do it. Am I telling you that all of the article-software out there is no good?

No. I don't understand why it happens. Perhaps, some of the better article directories can recognize whether it's coming in from some machine? I'm not technical so I don't know. Maybe they just don't put as much priority on the articles? I don't know. All that I know is that it hasn't worked for me. Nothing against the software itself. It just doesn't work for me.

    Article Marketing: Danger Signs

Marketing your articles is a fantastic way to gain needed exposure on the internet. Article directories are being introduced at a breakneck pace, but they are not all equal. In fact, listing your articles on some sites can be nothing but a waste of your time and could cause you to lose your valuable reputation. How so? Read on for more information.

One of the nicest compliments I have been paid is when a manager of an article directory approaches me to submit articles to his or her new site. Generally, this happens when they have discovered that I list a large number of articles to a high quality site, such as Ezine Articles, and realize that I have the ability to produce articles in spades.

Truthfully, I am very selective about joining new sites and only do so after examining how the site is set up and whether it is received by members of the article marketing community. The following list contains some of the danger signs of article directories that do not quite measure up:

No contact information. I want the person who manages the article directory to be personality driven. A little self promotion goes a long way! Sure, if they dont have what they say they have, it will soon become apparent that they are blowing in the wind. If it isnt possible to uncover the personality behind the directory, chances are they really arent that involved with the day to day operations.

No blog, no forum. Talk to me! Literally speaking. A blog and/or a forum are necessary parts of a successful article directory site, in my opinion. I want to get the article directory owners input on article marketing, and I want to leave a comment when inspired. Those article directories that encourage active participation are certainly the high achieving sites. Their success means your successplain and simple!

Feed it to them. Yes, a news feed that includes the articles submitted to the site is a must. RSS is a terrific way to maximize article exposure. I give article directories that have this feature an edge over all others as it tells me that they are serious about article marketing.

Statistically speaking. What, no stats?! If you cannot measure how many people have viewed your articles, downloaded the same, emailed them to someone, or left a comment, I have no use for you. Article marketing = statistics. You cannot possibly measure the success of what you write without some sort of feedback. Stats provide it!

Page rank. I want the article directory to pull down a Google page rank of at least 5. Heck, if my own article site can pull down a PR6, then I would expect an article directory to do at least the same! I give new sites 2 or 3 months to get their page rank up before deciding whether to submit to them or not.

Things I look for that are pluses: press releases; preservation of back links; easy submission of articles; approval within 48 hours; circulation of my articles via Google; a contact form to get a hold of the directory manager; continual growth of the site; and introduction of relevant new features to attract authors, content seekers, and the like.

Any site that fails to measure up is, in my opinion, a bad neighborhood. You wouldnt want to live in a bad neighborhood, so why would you feature your high quality articles there as well? Your reputation is golden; submit only to those sites that can enhance your reputation not lessen it.

Article Marketing Is Like Hiring A Salesman? How Can That Be? Part III Of III

The more I think about the parallels between writing and publishing articles with directories and hiring a sales rep, the more fun I am having with it.

One of the questions that people ask a lot about article writing is can they write about multiple topics or subjects. The answer like so many other things is a conditional, *yes, but.*

Let me explain a little first. The problem is one of perception. People have a hard time accepting that a life coach may also be an expert at crocheting. Somehow, one area seems to diminish the level of acceptance and credibility of the other.

Imagine if you were going in to buy a Lexus, and you decided you wanted to wait a little while before making a decision. Then the sale rep asked if he could come over later in the week and give you a free workup for a financial consultation? Most people, wrong or right, don't think the guy selling them their car is the guy they want helping them with their investments.

So, why is the answer, *yes, but?* Well, there is a way that you can do this and not have the negative impact or at least reduce the potential for it and that is use a different form of your name. For example, the name you see for in their main resource box and the name that they are branding is C.J. Miles.

Let's say a person has an interest that probably is not very compatible to their primary business, an interest in movies. Maybe they have always thought it would be fun to write reviews on movies. The best way for anyone to do this and minimize the impact would be for them to use the Cortney Miles form of their name. They could use any other version really, for example Cortney J. Miles. would be acceptable.

This has two benefits that are closely related, not only are people not very likely to make the connection between the two, the two different versions will not compete in the search engines: in other words, if you went to Google and performed a search on the name, *C.J. Miles,* you would not be able to pull up anything that was written or blogged under *Cortney Miles.* That's all you have to do if you have a couple areas that you have some expertise in and want to share with the world some of your unique ideas -- just use a different form of your name.

I want to reemphasize one point that I made earlier, that is don't worry about being perfect before you start writing articles. Write, get better, learn more, and when you run across something that you know will make a difference in previous articles, go back and modify your previous work. We should all be better in 6 months than we are now, I don't care who you are.
